Nosratollah Masoudi

AAlfaro  •  05 October, 2009

Three short poems by Iranian poet Nosratollah Masoudi. The first two are love poems and the last is an elegy.
-----------------------
Four

The wind that does not leave your skirt,
Tempted nobody except me.
--------------------
Seven

I’m so naked these days, that
Your coyness can not be found in any shirt.
---------------------
Eight

I rush around creepingly,
I even pass the dog and
In this unheard race
Near the side road,
I’m waiting for the mercy of the run away truck.

Poems translated from the Persian by Azadeh Davachi
