Complaints about the film being too long (it runs over two hours) are unfounded. With the high cost of seeing a film these days I'm happy to get more for my money, especially with a perfectly cast film like this one. This film speeds through several storylines while also retaining clarity of events, which I thought was great; I'd only ever seen a few of the cartoon episodes. The racing scenes were fast paced yet well edited, making it easy to follow and enjoy. If you want to stimulate your sense of sight like never before, go see Speed Racer, go!
