In tragic, unequal, attritional wars
Old women cry so hard with the children even the air hurts
Angry soldiers fill with tiny footsteps the bellies of helpless women
They lift hidden, hungry, afraid girls out of ovens
Like a benevolent flag against hunger!
Greed exists, yes.
As does despair
Crime
Or hatred.
