Giuseppina Ranalli - poem and biography

mahmag  •  01 November, 2006

Translated from Italian by: Cristina Contilli
IN THE NIGHT
Our bodies are melted
in the night;
the dreams blend

rocked by breaths of the sleep;
the love keeps watch
and discreet,
in the silence,
reassures our hearts:
tomorrow the dawn
will find us still together.

PASSION

Insatiable jolt
Burning and sublime desire
I burn because I want to you.

OTTIMESIA
Like the “Positivismo”, movement of thought of the second half of the 1800's, expressed confidence in the industrial development and the scientific search, in synthesis confidence in the progress in a position to carrying well-being and happiness, therefore the Ottimesìa wants to express confidence in the human values, evidencing the positive content of the man. The happiness is not given, in fact, only from the well-being, but it is one be inner that the Ottimesìa wants to explore using the poetry, the purer product of our spirit and our heart. In this way the poet testifies wisdom, beyond that confidence in the future and if same. Perhaps the future don't represent the inheritance of our job?
